The Federal Ministry of Justice has ordered the release of 7 officials from Saddam Hussein’s former regime, after finding no charges to bring against them, Haider al- Saadi Spokesman of the Ministry said.

The released persons are : Kareem Jassim al- Naseri who is involved in suppressing the 1991 al-Intifada al-Shaabaniya, Abdel Hameed Suliamn Ibrahim , Security Director of former military industry , Hashim Hassan al- Majeed former governor of Kirkuk province, Ogla Abed Sigar, a former high-ranking official in the disbanded Baath party, Mzahm Hassan al Saab former air force chief, Mozhr Noaman former Iraqi ambassador in Ukraine and Saad Salih Ahmed Salman who was bodyguard of former dictator Saddam Hussein .
