President Masoud Barzani , on Thursday , April 19, in Istanbul , Turkey , met with the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The two sides , during the meeting , discussed ways to develop the relations between Kurdistan Region and Turkey , to serve the interests of both the Kurdish and the Turkish peoples.

They also discussed current political crisis in Iraq and ways to solve obstacles hindering political process in Iraq.

The Syrian issue and the Kurdish role in Syrian was another issue discussed in the meeting between President Barzani and the Turkish Prime Minister.
