Three Turkish soldiers and four PKK rebels killed in clashes
- At least three Turkish soldiers and four Kurdish rebels from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) have been killed in clashes in Hatay province, south of Turkey, according to Turkish media sources.

A statement from the Hatay governorate said the Turkish forces were searching the Amanus Mountain in the province when they came across a group of PKK fighters.

“Four militants were killed and three soldiers [from the Turkish military] were killed. A fourth soldier was seriously injured and has been moved to hospital," said the statement.

The Turkish military has launched a wide-ranging operation following the attacks.
