The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, and Dr Barham Salih condemned Wednesday bombings which hit Baghdad and a number of Iraqi provinces.

A statement by KRG Presidency :"In deep regret and anxiety, we received the news of a series of bloody terrorist bombings that took place on Wednesday in many regions of Baghdad and a number of Iraqi Cities as well as headquarters of Kurdistan Parties, targeting the masses of Shiite religious pilgrims who were in their way to commemorate the Martyrdom of Imam Kadhim, resulting in dozens of martyrs and a large number of wounded people."

According to the News, more than 100 deaths and injuries were from the pilgrims in thirty bombings by bomb cars and explosive devices in nine provinces most of them were in the capital Baghdad.
