Iraq registers 46 foreign companies last month
Director Fryal Akram said in a statement the directorate registered 43 offices of foreign companies and three branches of foreign companies with different nationalities.
Akram added that the directorate issued decisions for amending the work of 157 companies and the decision of merging two companies, changing the name of 31 companies and liquidizing a company.
She noted that the directorate checked the final accounts of 2,262 national companies for the period 2002 until 2011, as well as reviewing the final accounts of 72 foreign company offices and 70 branches of foreign companies.
