Iraqi football team to play against Lebanon in Arab championship
- Iraq's football team will play against Lebanon at 8:30pm tonight in its first match in the ninth Arab league.
The tournament began on June 22 and continues until July 6, with both Jadda and al-Taif cities hosting the league.

Iraq’s football team has won the championship the most after being crowned the winners four times in 1964, 1966, 1985 and 1988. Saudi Arabia comes second, winning twice.

Eleven teams have confirmed their participation in the tournament, which is divided into three groups. Iraq is playing in the third group against Egypt, Lebanon and Sudan.
