Lawmakers from Kurdistan Region Parliament have approved by majority vote the 2012 budget in yesterday’s ordinary session.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Arsalan Baez the Speaker of the Parliament and was attended by his deputy Dr. Hassan Muhammad , Frsat Ahmed the Secretary of the Parliament, Finance Minister Baez Talabani and other officials .

The Kurdistan's budget in 2012 amounts to 12.6trillion IQD ($10.8bn).
