Four more soldiers killed by PKK
Guerrillas of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) have killed four Turkish soldiers and wounded one more in Colemerg, southern Turkey, Firat news agency close to the PKK said.
The agency cited a statement by the People's Defense Forces (HPG), the military wing of the PKK.

On June 27 at 12.00 a.m. guerrillas and soldiers confronted each other in Çelê ditrict of Colemerg. One soldier was killed and one more wounded in the cross-fire.

Two more soldiers were killed in clashes between the two sides in the same area yesterday at 07.30 a.m.
Another soldier was killed today at 06.00 a.m. in Şemzînan district of Colemerg near Harun Barracks.

HGP released another statement yesterday saying 13 soldiers were killed in Siirt and Van provinces June26-27.

The war between PKK and Turkish army has been intensified as of June 19, when almost 100 guerrillas attacked three bases in southeastern Turkey.

The PKK struggle for autonomy of Kurdish region of Turkey and ethnic rights of millions of Kurds who live in the country has claimed the lives of more than 45,000 soldiers, guerrillas and civilians since 1984.
