Turkey’s Deputy Prime Minister Beşir Atalay has said the government will take every step necessary and hold talks with anyone who can help solve the country's long-standing Kurdish issue.

Atalay said on Monday that the government will continue to take the necessary steps “for the benefit of the country.” “We do not and will not hesitate to have talks with the necessary people, to take any essential steps and to make the required decisions to stop the ongoing bloodshed,” he said.

The deputy prime minister said his government continues to work resolutely with political parties, nongovernmental organizations and the nation on issues related to terrorism.
