President Barzani wishes peace and prosperity to the people of Kurdistan, Iraq and the whole world in the New Year.

In his statement, the President said: “It is unfortunate that our country is going through a serious crisis that is threatening relations between the country’s communities.”

“The country’s political leaders need to live up to their national and historic responsibilities, and put the interests of the people of Iraq before their personal, political and sectarian interests,” said the President , adding that Iraqis should resort to the Constitution to address their problems.
