The Prime Minister of KR,Nechirvan Barzani,yesterday received Kobler where they discussed the latest political developments in Iraq and the region in addition to the initiatives that are exerted to settle the political crisis in Iraq.

The Special Representative of the UN’s Secretary General, Martin Kobler, expressed the readiness of the UN to help in settling the political crisis in Iraq.

In the meeting Kobler said that the aim of my visit to Kurdsiatn is to be acquainted with the political stance of Kurdsiatn to bring success to the exerted efforts to settle the crisis, noting that “The UN is ready to help in settling the crisis and sustain stability in Iraq.”

PM Barzani appreciated Kobler’s role in this issue, assuring that the Kurdistani side aims at settling all the pending issues through the dialogue and the constitution.


PM Barzani assured that the Kurdish sides are adherent to the national reconciliation without discriminating any side, stressing the necessity of listening to all sides to bring success to the political process and the real partnership in Iraq.
