hawlergov.org ,In a recent meeting between Nawzad Hadi, Governor of Hawler and Louise Haxthausen General Director of UNESCO in Iraq announcement of enlisting Hawler Castle among world heritage locations declared which UN decides by 2014, the declarations comes after winning the title of Capital of Tourism among Arab countries by Hawler for 2014.

The meeting was attended by Sami Qoja UNESCO representative in Hawler and Dara Yaqoubi head of high commission of Hawler Castel's restoration program. Commission's work progresses and governorate's cooperation were also discussed.

"We are so pleased about the announcement and looking forward to cooperate with the commission so that Hawler Castle will be mentioned among World Heritage Locations" stated Nawzad Hadi.
