On Thursday ,US Secretary of State John Kerry spoke with President Barzani on the continuing crisis facing the political process in Iraq.

During the phone call, the President and US Secretary of State discussed current tensions between the KRG and Baghdad, and the continuing political crisis facing the country in general. The two sides agreed to continue their consultations on the situation in Iraq.
