On Saturday ,Kurdistan President Barzani congratulated the brilliant holiday on the occasion of Easter to all Christians in the world, Iraq and Kurdistan region.

“I am pleased to express my sincere heartfelt congratulations to the Christians of Iraq ,Kurdistan region and the rest of the world on the occasion of Easter Holiday, wishing them all the best, happiness and well-being”, President Barzani said.

President Barzani said on Saturday that he shares the Easter excitement with Christian people from the bottom of his heart.

He believes a different culture of coexistence and feelings of security, solidarity and peace in Kurdistan will be maintained and thanks to rooted traditions based on the respect for differences, and for other faiths in particular. He then gave his regards to all Christians celebrating Easter and expressed his best wishes.
