Iraq’s Kurdish Ministers and Parliamentarians to End Boycott, Return to Baghdad
Salahaddin, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, (KRP.org)- Iraq’s Kurdish ministers and parliamentarians will end their boycott and return to Baghdad, following an agreement signed this week between KRG Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani and Iraqi Prime Minister Noori al-Maliki.

This decision came in a meeting today between President Masoud Barzani and Iraq’s Kurdish ministers and parliamentarians, representative of all Kurdistan’s political parties, and members of the Kurdish delegation to Baghdad.


Members of the delegation to Baghdad construed the agreement with the Maliki government which included the status of the disputed areas, reparations for Anfal victims, customs and border procedures as well as submission of a proposal for legislation on natural resources.



President Barzani welcomed the results of the delegation's visit and stressed on the importance of follow up on both sides and commitment to the agreement.
