Iraqi Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, will head the session of the Federal Council of Ministers that will be held in Erbil on next Sunday.

Maliki’s adviser, Ali al-Musawi, assured to the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan that “the Iraqi Cabinet will hold the next session in Erbil- Kurdistan Region.”

“The session would be held on Sunday 9-6-2013 during Maliki’s visit to Kurdistan Region at the aim of meeting with Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani and Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani,” he concluded.

The official visit came in response to the official invitation Maliki received from Nechirvan Barzani, the official President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, during their recent meeting in Baghdad.
