Today at 7: am, voting to elect the provincial elections in the provinces of Mosul and Anbar kicked off amid tight security procedures.

Operations Command in Anbar province announced that it implemented a security plan to protect the citizens during the electoral process in the city.

Anbar police Chief Maj. Hadi Rsej in a press statement said that the Command of Anbar police used all the available means to protect civilians and polling stations and secure all areas.

In Mosul, Nineveh Operations Command has taken a series of precautionary measures aimed at the success of the elections, including the imposition of a curfew in the city since yesterday.
