President of Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani met with Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz on the sidelines of an economic forum in Bitrsbork, Russia.

During the meeting, the Turkish Minister conveyed greetings from the Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Erdogan to President Barzani who stressed the development of relations between the two sides, emphasizing the commitment of Turkey and its obligations to the region.

President Barzani stressed his and the Kurdistan region's support toward the development of the relations between the two sides, in the interest of Turkey and Kurdistan region.
