Four convicts sentenced to death in Sulaimaniyah
Criminal Court of Sulaymaniyah sentenced on Sunday, to death by hanging four convicts accused of killing a contractor and maiming his body.
“Sulaymaniyah Criminal Court sentenced to death by hanging , four accused from the inhabitants of Sinjar district (124 km) west of Mosul who were working in Sulaymaniyah province ,” a close source to one of the defendants told “Shafaq News”.
“The judgment was announced in the presence of the two defendants while two other are still fugitives from justice”.
“The four convicts accused of killing a contractor were his workers, a year ago, they killed and burned his body to distort the features and stole 20 thousand dollars and a few million Iraqi dinars with the victim”.
According to the source, “two of the four suspects confessed also of killing a colleague a few years ago and stole money that was in his possession and threw his body near the old bridge of Mosul city, in order to take charge at unidentified terrorists."
