Oil pumping resumed from Kirkuk to Turkey
A navigation source announced on Tuesday, the resumption of pumping Iraqi oil through Kirkuk pipeline to Turkey after repeated stop in the past few days.

"Pumping oil from Iraq to Turkey through a pipeline Kirkuk - Ceyhan has resumed since yesterday evening," the source said.

The pipeline transmits Kirkuk crude average to the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean, but remained inactive most of the time since 21 of June because of a leakage.

Despite repeated announcement of the resumption of oil pumping in the past few days, but it has stopped last Sunday, according to navigation sources.

Observers point out that the warehouse has currently about 280 thousand barrels as the last tanker had to wait for 29 days before loading it in Ceyhan port.

Iraqi oil pipelines to Turkey are often subjected to stop pumping regularly, due to technical problems and the others linked to armed attacks on the transferring lines.

The repeated stop in pumping oil through the pipeline was one of the main reasons for declining the Iraqi crude exports over the last two months.
