Bomb attack stops Iraq –Turkey oil pipeline
Officials in Iraq's North Oil Company said on Sunday that a bomb attack stopped oil pumping through Iraqi pipeline from Kirkuk’s oil fields to the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean.

The attack took place in mid night near Mosul city, the center of Nineveh province (about 402 km north of Baghdad).

“Repairing will take 72 hours in the absence of any other security problems,” Officials in Iraq's North Oil Company said in statements to Reuters, briefed by “Shafaq News”.

Since 21 of June, the pipeline didn’t work but for a few days due to a leakage as it is often exposed to attacks by militants linked to al-Qaeda.

Stop of supplies across the line caused a decline in the country's exports over the past two months.
