Kurdistan Alliance Agrees on Maliki’s Third Term
Leader of Kurdish Alliance’s Parliamentary bloc, Fouad Masoum said that Kurdistan List has no objection on Maliki’s third term extension in power.

According to a report by Iraqi Media Network, Fouad Masoum, head of Kurdistan Alliance’s Parliamentary bloc announced that they are agreed on Maliki’s third term.

Earlier, Vice President of the Kurdistan Alliance bloc in the parliament, Mohsen al-Sadoun denied the reports that indicated to the approval of the Kurdistan alliance on the nomination of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, for a third term.

Sadoun said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA ) that the agreement took place between the Governments of the region and the center on the outstanding problems did not include Maliki's nomination for a third term , referring that " prime minister's nomination for a third session will be decided by the Federal Court. "
