Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani arrived back in Erbil on Sunday after a two-day official visit to Qatar.

During his visit, the President met with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, and His Excellencies the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar to discuss regional developments, boosting relations and strengthening partnerships of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region with Qatar.

After concluding his official visit, the President was escorted by Qatar’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Ali bin Ahmed al Kuwari to airport where he bade farewell to the President following a departure ceremony.
