Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Tuesday met Matthew Tueller, US ambassador to Iraq.

Developments in Iraq were discussed, along with the Kurdistan Region’s relationship with Washington.

The Premier thanked him for America’s support, underlining the importance of the Iraqi government acting for all parties and solving issues between Erbil and Baghdad according to the constitution.

The US ambassador congratulated the PM on the election, expressing support for a federal, stable, and sovereign Iraq.
