The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional government, Masrour Barzani, received on Saturday the well-known Turkish sociologist and writer Ismail Beşikçi and his accompanying delegation in Erbil.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister praised Beşikçi's struggle to defend the people of Kurdistan and the legitimate cause of the Kurds, and praised Beşikçi's stance, writing and works, which were based on his scientific research and academic methods. Through which, he defended, the rights of the Kurdish people and other oppressed people at large.

Ismail Beşikçi thanked the Prime Minister for his support and stressed the importance of working on the education side and paying attention to national issues and resolving the Kurdish question in the region in a peaceful and just manner.
