Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met Mahdi Safari, Iran’s deputy foreign minister for economic diplomacy.

Both sides discussed ways to further develop ties between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially in trade and investment.

They also discussed local developments and the relationship between Kurdistan Region and the federal government.
