Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Monday met Air Marshal Sammy Sampson, UK Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa.

PM Barzani thanked the UK and coalition forces for their continued support, stressing the importance of maintaining peace in Iraq via an inclusive government.

Both sides discussed post-election Iraq, whilst strongly condemning the terror attack on the Iraqi Prime Minister.

Sampson highlighted the importance of the Kurdistan Region in promoting stability, reiterating Britain’s ongoing willingness to help Kurdistan Region.
