Prime Minister Masrour Barzani issued the following statement on the Yazidi 40th Day of Summer holiday:

“On the occasion of the 40th Day of Summer holiday, I offer my warmest congratulations to the Yazidi community in the Kurdistan Region and across the world. I hope that this holiday brings peace and joy to the Yazidi community.

“On this occasion, we reiterate that the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) will do everything in its power to serve the Yazidi community and alleviate their suffering.

“Happy 40th Day of Summer and may you always live in peace and prosperity.”
