Iraq offered condolences to the United Kingdom on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

A statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated on Friday, that "the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its deepest condolences and sympathy to the government of the United Kingdom and its friendly people, on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, who had a presence in the most important historical, social and political stations of the kingdom and its friends."
