Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today [on Wednesday] met with the US special envoy to North East Syria, Nicholas Granger.

Prime Minister Barzani stressed the importance of resuming dialogue between the Kurdish political parties in Syria and ensuring greater freedom for political and organizational activities in the region.

Both sides discussed the latest developments in Iraq and northeast Syria, and agreed to remain in close dialogue to facilitate further cooperation.
