Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today [on Tuesday] met with the French Ambassador to Iraq, Éric Chevalier.

Both discussed ways to further strengthen the already strong bilateral relationship between the Kurdistan Region and France.

Prime Minister Barzani and Ambassador Chevalier also discussed the latest political developments in Iraq and the necessity of resolving outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad through constructive dialogue.

They also agreed on the importance of maintaining the security of the region.
