Continuing his visit to Baghdad on Tuesday, President Nechirvan Barzani met with the Chairman of the Victory Alliance, Mr. Haider Al-Abadi.

In the meeting, the political and security situation of the country was highlighted as both sides reaffirmed the importance of supporting the Iraqi federal government in implementing its agenda, as well as the cooperation and shared responsibility of the Iraqi parties and communities to overcome the existing challenges.

Discussions also covered the bilateral relations of Iraq with neighboring countries and the developments in the wider region.
