President Nechirvan Barzani held a meeting on Sunday in Baghdad with the former Prime Minister of Iraq, Dr. Adel Abdul Mahdi.

The two sides exchanged views on the developments and the situation in the country, and discussed the need to support the Iraqi government to implement its agenda in a way that ensures the rights of all communities in the country and responds to the demands and grievances of the public.

The two sides stressed the importance of solidarity and cooperation between all Iraqi forces and parties to resolve the country’s problems and to maintain Iraq’s stability and sovereignty.
