The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region Masrour Barzani met with Saeed Bin Hamad Al-Saqri, Oman’s Minister of Economy on Wednesday on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, receiving a formal invitation to visit the country.

The two sides talked about ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Sultanate of Oman.

Discussions were primarily focused on Kurdistan’s agricultural sector as the Region’s domestic pomegranate products have recently reached the Oman markets, marking the first agricultural product exportation from the Kurdistan Region to the country.
