Turkish Drone Attack Targets Civilian Car in Manbij, Aleppo Province

In a recent incident in the southern countryside of Manbij city in Aleppo province, a Turkish drone targeted a civilian car, resulting in severe injuries and the subsequent death of a civilian. The victim, identified as Abdul Wahab Al-Muhammad Al-Hajj Hamidi, was immediately taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries despite medical intervention.

According to the Media Center of Manbij Military Council, the Turkish UAV launched the attack on the al-Kharoufia village at approximately 6:30 p.m. The incident highlights the continued violence in the region and the impact on innocent civilians.

This is not the first instance of such an attack, as the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that this was the third Turkish drone attack in May alone.

The previous attack targeted a military vehicle of the Women's Protection Units in the same village, injuring two individuals and one civilian who happened to be near the site during the airstrike. Tragically, the civilian died due to shrapnel wounds sustained during the attack while attempting to rescue the injured individuals in the targeted car.

The repeated use of Turkish drones in the region raises concerns about the escalation of violence and the indiscriminate targeting of civilians. These incidents further contribute to the ongoing instability in the area and highlight the need for international attention and efforts to address the situation.

The Turkish government has not yet responded to these specific incidents, but the attacks underscore the urgency of finding a peaceful resolution to the conflict and ensuring the protection of innocent lives in the region.
