President Nechirvan Barzani received a phone call from Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey, on Thursday, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

President Erdogan congratulated President Nechirvan Barzani, wished him success, and conveyed his greetings to the people of the Kurdistan Region.

For his part, President Nechirvan Barzani thanked President Erdogan for his phone call, offered his congratulations to him and the people of Turkey, and wished them success.

The two leaders wished everyone peace and prosperity; and discussed bilateral relations of Turkey with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and ways to further strengthen mutual cooperation.
