In a press release issued today, Kurdistan Region's Prime Minister, Masrour Barzani, has reiterated the unequivocal support of the regional government for the rights of national and religious components in Kurdistan. The Prime Minister's statements were conveyed through messages addressed to key figures, including the President of the Supreme Judicial Council in Iraq, Judge Faik Zidan, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, and the Chairman of the Commissioners Board in the Independent High Electoral Commission, Judge Omar Ahmed Mohammed.
