Kurdistan Region Prime Minister to Address World Governments Summit in Dubai

Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani is set to deliver a significant speech titled "Rethinking Development and Future Economies" at the World Governments Summit in Dubai today. The anticipated address is scheduled to commence at 3:30 pm Erbil time, as per the summit's official agenda.

Prime Minister Barzani embarked on a journey to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday to attend the prestigious summit, which spans from February 12 to 14 in the vibrant city of Dubai. His attendance marks a notable recognition, as he received a special invitation from UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Besides his keynote speech, PM Barzani is expected to engage in various discussions with a diverse array of Arab, regional, and international officials, intellectuals, and business leaders, underscoring the significance of fostering global partnerships and collaboration.

The World Governments Summit, established in 2013 under the visionary leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, serves as a pivotal platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas among governments worldwide.

PM Barzani's participation in the World Governments Summit follows his recent involvement in the World Economic Forum (WEF) held in Davos last month. At the WEF, he engaged in fruitful dialogues with influential leaders, delving into discussions concerning global geopolitical dynamics and economic developments.

The Kurdish leader's presence at such esteemed international forums highlights Kurdistan Region's commitment to contributing to global discourse on crucial issues and fostering mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders across the globe.
