Minister of Finance and Economy, Awat Sheikh Janab, provided updates on salary disbursements for Kurdistan Region employees, noting that only a portion of the requested funds from the Federal Government was allocated, potentially affecting February 2024 salary payments. The initiation of the "My Account" project, overseen by the Central Bank of Iraq, was highlighted as a solution to facilitate salary payments.

The Council emphasized the importance of ensuring all salaried individuals receive their entitlements and praised the "My Account" project for its cost-effectiveness and superior services compared to traditional methods. Plans to expand participation in the project were discussed.
