In a bid to foster unity and advocacy among Kurds dispersed across Europe, the Kurdish community in Berlin has inaugurated the Kurdish Diaspora Center.

This landmark initiative, spearheaded by the Barzani Headquarters, aims to galvanize Kurds from all corners of the region, transcending geographical divides.

Dr. Diler Dzeye, appointed as the president of the newly formed center, emphasized its pivotal role in lobbying for Kurdish interests on the global stage. "Our mission is clear: to garner support for the Kurdish cause and nurture the next generation's commitment to our rich heritage," Dzeye told Kurdistan 24 on Sunday.

Concerns loom over the assimilation of younger Kurds into European cultures, prompting the diaspora to prioritize cultural preservation and identity reaffirmation. Kovan Amedi, Secretary of the Kurdistan Diaspora Confederation, underscored the imperative of imparting linguistic and historical knowledge to successive generations.
