President Nechirvan Barzani held a meeting with Iraqi Taqaddum Party (Progress Party) leader Mohamed al-Halbousi in Baghdad on Saturday night.

They discussed the current political situation in Iraq, the ongoing efforts to select the speaker of the Iraqi parliament, as well as ways to improve Erbil-Baghdad relations and address existing challenges.

Additionally, they discussed the regional developments and their impact on Iraq, along with various matters of mutual concern.
