Lady Gaga returned to music yesterday, plopping her new single "Applause" on iTunes ahead of its original release date after a leak threatened to wreak havoc with sales of the song.

She's following that up with a new promo clip from the Haus of Gaga, in which she is wearing a mask and has some sort of nodes attached to her temples as soundbites about her demise and fall from pop's priestess of weird play in the background. Of course, the voice tells you not to buy "Applause." Don't do it: Gaga said so.
