29 bodies of Kurdish found in new mass graves
-Two new mass graves containing 29 bodies has been found in a military campaign of Hamrin Mountain area in Salahaddin Province, north of Baghdad.

The victims were killed in military campaign in the 1980s by the former Iraqi regime.

The Kurdistan Regional Government Human Rights Ministry today said they were investigating the reports of two new mass graves,” in the first mass grave nine remains were found and in the second twenty bodies were found .”

According to the Saddam Hussein's genocide efforts to eradicate Kurds from Iraq in 1988. Hundreds of thousands of men, women and children were taken from northern Iraq to the central and southern parts of the country, where they were executed and buried in mass graves.
