Kurdish immigrant opens first antiques gallery in Kalar
After one year of collecting antiques and masterpieces in Europe, a Kurdish immigrant from Germany today opened his first gallery of European antiques in Kalar, Kurdistan Region.
Dishad Khalil said: "I thought it would be great if I collected antiques and opened my first exhibition in Kurdistan to show Kurdish people the culture of European nations through these collected antiques."

Speaking about his first exhibition in Kurdistan, Khalil said some of the pieces in the exhibition were brought from Europe to show people in the region a comparison between European and Kurdish culture.

Khalil visited Switzerland, Austria and Germany to collect some of his exhibition pieces.

The exhibition is held in Kalar library, Garmian.
