As an attempt towards bringing about security situation stabilization in Kirkuk, an extensive campaign contributed by security, police, Iraqi army and Peshmarga forces covered the entire Kirkuk streets and neighborhoods, 25 March.

Each force took the share of a specific geographical area covering a number of neighborhoods. In Amal Sha’abi and Arafa neighborhoods, Kirkuk district and sub-district police forces could arrest 14 wanted and suspects, Brigadier Sarhad Qadir Kirkuk districts police chief told PUKmedia.

Brigade 1 Peshmarga forces as an active partner controlled northern Kirkuk and captured 2 suspects.
