on April22, 2012 the Kurdistan Parliament Vice President, Dr. Hasan Mohammed, along with the Parliament Secretary Farsat Ahmed, received Egyptian delegation headed by Dr. Sheikh Jamal Qutb, director of Al-Azhar Fatwa Committee and his accompanying delegation.

In a meeting attended by Dr. Sabah Barzanji, Member of Kurdistan Parliament, the delegation expressed their delight at visiting Kurdistan Region, and expressed their admiration for the reconstruction and development process that the Region has witnessed in recent years; they stressed their support for arranging parliamentary workshops for the purpose of exchanging experiences.


The Kurdistan Parliament Vice President welcomed the delegation and praised the historical attitudes of Egypt and its people, hoping to continue these relations between both sides.
