Road accidents in Darbandikhan _ a small town in south east of Sulimaniya city_ have caused at least 15 death and injured about 100 people only in six months, statistics shows.

“59 car and road accidents took place since early this year that killed 15 and injured 14 others”, Figures announced by Darbandikhan Traffic Police indicates.

Most of the accidents were road accidents, according to the figures, in 29 of the 59 accidents cars had flipped over due to speeding.Twenty of the accidents were car crushes and 10 others involved running over pedestrians.
