Iraq’s parliamentary speaker Osama al-Najaifi arrived in Erbil on Saturday and met with Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani to discuss a possible solution for the current tensions between Baghdad and Erbil.

The Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Osama al-Nijaifi discussed with the President of Kurdistan Region the political crisis besides the issue of raiding the protection officer office of the Minister of Finance Rafa al-Issawi and arresting a number of his guards.



Mr. Osama al-Nijaifi said that the members and ministers of the Iraqiya have authorized the leaders of the bloc to seek a solution for the current crisis.



In their meeting, both ,President Barzani and head of the delegation said that the country cannot stand another crisis.
