Barzani Presses for Referendum On Iraqi Kurdistan Constitution
Massoud Barzani, president of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region,at the anniversary of Gullan Revolution, in Erbil on Monday, May 26, 2013, announced that Kurdistan Region draft Constitution would not be amended but put into referendum so that the people would directly express their will freely.
Patriotic Union of Kurdistan along with the opposition parties of the region demanded for amendments of the draft constitution before putting it into referendum.
