The Iraqi Foreign Minister, Fouad Hussein, stressed that his country still needs the support of the US forces and the international coalition, in its efforts to confront the remnants of ISIS, and stop targeting airports and diplomatic missions.

Hussain added that the Iraqi government informed the Americans that it did not need military combat forces, but at the same time; they need to develop the military situation, training and cooperation in the field of military intelligence and air power, through the logistical support of the coalition forces.

Hussein's statements come before his participation, on Friday, in the fourth session of the strategic dialogue between Baghdad and Washington, according to the Iraqi Foreign Ministry's statement.
